Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Transcription runs on your computer. You only need internet the first time, to download the speech model.
Which apps can I dictate into?
Any app where you can type: email, Word, WhatsApp Web, your browser, code editors or your company chat. Susurro types wherever your cursor is. And if no text field is active, it shows the text in a window so you can copy it.
Is my voice sent to a server?
No. By default everything is processed on your computer and your voice never leaves it. Optionally, you can connect cloud engines (OpenAI or ElevenLabs) with your own API key, but that is your choice.
Which languages does it recognize?
Over 100, with automatic detection: you speak and it identifies the language. Spanish, English, French, German, Portuguese and many more.
How much does it cost?
The first month is free and no card is required. After that it costs €4.99 per month, VAT included, and you can cancel anytime.
Do I need a powerful computer?
No. It runs on any modern PC using the CPU. If you have an NVIDIA card, Susurro uses it and transcribes much faster.
Is there a Mac version?
